Press and Reviews
Meet Katherine Chatman, an interview for the Rose Center Theater's Inspiring Artists Series
Little Women Reviews:
"Ms. Chatman's Meg has an elegant charm and looks to spare with a unique vocal brand that sets her apart. She portrays Meg with a small weakness for luxury and leisure, but also gentle, motherly, and morally vigorous...Through laughter, tears, and a profound uplifting of spirit, the March sisters will effortlessly wind their way into your heart, and gently take your breath away."
"Chatman is loveliness and warmth personified as Meg."
Into the Woods Review:
"The exquisite Ms. Chatman's Cinderella, combining poise and bewilderment ('On the Steps of the Palace')...and of course, the tender Ms. Chatman, whose running-scared Cinderella with a lovely, comic fragility recalls a young Issa Rae."
1940's Radio Hour Review:
"Defining that character perfectly is the incredible Katherine Chatman, decked out in a classy, royal mauve evening gown, whose jazzy R&B rhythms puts you right in the mood"
Light in the Piazza Review:
"Clara’s cascading “The Beauty Is” captures the yearning and uncertainty of youth...Katherine Chatman, who has a voice that really transcends as it grows louder, is ideally cast as Clara.
